Engineering Leader

Job Description

A client of Insight Global in the Whitehall, MI area is seeking an Engineering Leader to join their team! This individual will drive operational excellence in a high-volume casting environment by leading improvement initiatives that increase throughput, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. This role oversees product and process engineering-including tooling and part design, scrap and variation reduction, and new product introduction to ensure delivery against cost, quality, scheduling, and customer expectations. The leader partners with operations, cross-site engineering teams, and customers to optimize manufacturability and process performance while developing and engaging engineering talent.

Compensation:

$120,000 to $130,000 annually

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelors in engineering or operations management

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing - Experience with CAD/blueprints

• Excellent problem-solving skills (Kaizen, 5 whys, etc.)

• Strong communication and presentation skills
