Service Technician - Livonia Michigan

Position Summary

Seeking an individual with 5 years of experience who can independently perform maintenance on various COMMERCIAL HVAC/R systems including:

· Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing

You will be expected to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair: Heating, Air conditioners, Heat pumps, Boilers, Ice machines, Walk-in coolers, and Freezers

· Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults

· Testing systems for proper operation and ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations

· Maintaining accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spend on jobs

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or HVAC certification preferred.
• Commercial HVAC service 5+ years
• Commercial Refrigeration service 2+ years
• EPA certification (Type I, II, or Universal).
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Physical stamina to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift heavy equipment
• Must have basic HVAC hand tools
