Part-Time | LPN Nurse Supervisor

Schedule:

Positions available include working every other holiday

Available Shifts:

  1. Part-Time: 6:00am - 2:30pm (48 hours per two week pay period)
  2. On-call Rotation (carrying staffing phone every 4th week)

The Difference You’ll Make

  1. Conduct daily rounds with staff, monitor care, and provide support
  2. Assist Med Techs and Nurse Aids with resident care and tasks as needed
  3. Process physician orders and laboratory results accurately and timely
  4. Assist with coordinating and scheduling resident diagnostic testing
  5. Collaborate with the Unit Manager and cross train to provide coverage when needed
  6. Promote teamwork, accountability, and quality care standards
  7. Must be available to be called in as needed when carrying the on-call supervisor phone to cover in Skilled, Assisted, or Memory care during staffing shortages.
  8. Demonstrate reliability and flexibility with scheduling and hours based on facility needs.

Qualifications:

Education Required:

  1. Degree obtained from an accredited nursing program.
  2. Must be in good standing with the Michigan Board of Nursing and have a current nurse license.
  3. Minimum of one-year previous experience as a nurse required.
  4. Current CPR certification

Experience Required:

  1. Supervisory experience in an Assisted Living or similar healthcare setting
  2. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills

Preferred:

  1. Experience with holistic or integrative care models
  2. Experience with clinical quality metrics and program development
  3. Multitasking and supporting multiple departments

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  1. Proven ability to deliver exceptional, person-centered care
  2. Experience establishing, monitoring, and improving clinical best practices and quality outcomes
  3. Ability to support and integrate holistic and wellness-focused care programs within the community
  4. Demonstrated success leading quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
  5. Strong ability to educate, coach, and mentor staff on clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging best practices
  6. Thorough understanding of nursing department operations, including compliance with federal and state regulations
  7. Ability to effectively lead change, communicate expectations clearly, and model professional behaviors
  8. Strong collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams, leadership, residents, and families
  9. High commitment to customer service excellence and resident satisfaction
  10. Demonstrated leadership presence, sound clinical judgment, and decision-making ability
  11. Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
  12. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  13. Proficiency with electronic health records and standard computer software
