In this role, you’ll act as a key partner to the Controller, helping oversee financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and support high-level financial strategy. You’ll operate at both a leadership and advisory level—providing visibility into performance, guiding decisions, and aligning accounting operations with business goals.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee accounting operations (A/P, A/R, payroll, general ledger)
- Partner with the Controller on financial reporting and GAAP compliance
- Review month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close deliverables
- Analyze financials and share actionable insights with leadership
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning efforts
- Strengthen internal controls and accounting policies
- Drive process and system improvements
- Support audits and ensure compliance readiness
What We’re Looking For
- Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience reviewing and overseeing close processes
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience (Business Central is a plus)
- Proven leadership and team development experience
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills
- Ability to operate at both detailed and high-level perspectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with financial oversight exposure
- Leadership experience managing accounting functions, teams, or cross-functional projects
