We are looking for an experienced, dependable person to join our team to help meet the needs of our growing law and tax practice, and specifically to help support our work providing tax return preparation, bookkeeping, IRS representation, and related services to our long-term and growing individual and business clientele.

We've been at this for more than 40 years. We're looking for someone to team up with to help us continue to grow and create amazing results.

Job Details:

• You must create a work product that you're proud of, have good communication skills, and demonstrate initiative, leadership, and attention to detail. We are a very busy office.
• You must be experienced and competent with financially-based tools and software. Proficiency with Excel and QuickBooks (desktop and online) is a must. Experience with tax return preparation software, such as ATX, setting up clients with QuickBooks and/or charts of account, and working with clients to help them with their bookkeeping needs and/or set-up is a plus. You must also be competent with Microsoft Word.
• You must be at least generally familiar with, and preferably highly competent with, the workings of basic tax returns such as IRS 1040 and Schedule C, sets of books, and basic financial statements such as profit/loss, QuickBooks ledgers, and related financial documents. You will not be preparing tax returns but must have sufficient knowledge, experience, and skill to efficiently marshal information for return preparation and financial-related projects or work products.
• You must be confident with math and your ability to work with sets of books and/or financial information and demonstrate attention to detail in these regards.
