Design Build Team Leader
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise landscape installation crews to complete design build projects from inception to completion.
 - Interpret detailed landscape plans and ensure accurate implementation of construction elements, including hardscape, grading, planting, drainage, and lighting.
 - Coordinate tools, materials, labor, and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and meet the highest quality standards.
 - Provide on-site training and mentorship to crew members to ensure consistent techniques, safety, and productivity.
 - Maintain open and professional communication with clients, vendors, and team members.
 - Monitor job progress and proactively resolve issues to avoid delays and cost overruns.
 - Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company standards for craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
 - Perform hands-on work alongside the team as needed, especially during key phases of installation.
 
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in landscape construction, including team leadership responsibilities.
 - Strong knowledge of hardscape installation, grading, drainage, irrigation, and plant layout.
 - Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, site plans, and technical specifications.
 - Valid Chauffeur’s License or ability to obtain one prior to start date.
 - Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time and resources effectively.
 - Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
 - Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
 - Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
 - Relevant certifications in landscape construction or horticulture (preferred).
 - Experience with low-voltage lighting and water features (preferred).
 - Plant knowledge and ability to make on-the-fly field adjustments for design optimization (preferred).
 
Compensation
Starting pay at $25 per hour, based on experience
