Job Description

The Network Technician role focuses on software support, software tooling, and IT skills, with traditional lab technician skills being a plus. The position requires working closely with software engineers, including tasks such as flashing software on devices and developing in-house tools to optimize hardware tracking. The role also involves supporting cross-functional teams including system engineers, software engineers, and integration engineers to set up lab events.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with software engineers, taking direction to flash software on devices and develop in-house tools.

• Optimize hardware tracking and support integration efforts in lab settings.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with various engineering teams to support lab setups.

• Learn and adapt to new software tools, including PowerBI.

• Translate digital system diagrams into real-time lab environment setups.

Essential Skills

• 2-3 years of IT/Network Engineering experience.

• Familiarity with networking principles and routing networks in lab settings.

• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

• Experience with software flashing and lab setups.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with PowerBI or any dashboarding tool.

• Ability to automate data pulls.

• Experience with PowerApps.

• Knowledge of SQL for database management.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sterling Heights, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $43.27/hr.
