Join our client, a leading healthcare provider specializing in hospice care, as the Director of Clinical Operations. This pivotal role offers you the opportunity to influence and elevate the quality of hospice services, ensuring a compassionate and supportive environment for both patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee nursing operations, providing leadership and management to the entire interdisciplinary team.
- Drive excellence in patient care and community relations by setting and maintaining high standards of clinical service delivery.
- Manage the admissions process to ensure efficiency and meet the needs of patients and families promptly.
- Manage intake procedures and oversee electronic medical records (EMR) management to ensure seamless documentation and data integrity.
- Lead and facilitate interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings, promoting collaborative care planning and quality improvement.
- Oversee pharmacy operations, staffing logistics, and the delivery of after-hours care to ensure comprehensive support for patients.
- Ensure consistent and accurate documentation practices across the team, aligning with compliance and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in nursing leadership, preferably in hospice or palliative care settings.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of hospice care regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Ability to seamlessly handle complex clinical operations and drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in managing electronic medical records and ensuring data accuracy.
- A registered nurse (RN) license, Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
