Software Test Analyst

Location: 2 days a week in downtown Lansing, MI (Tuesday/Wednesday)

Must be local to Michigan and can interview on-site.

Skills Matrix:

• QA experience where they wrote and executed manual test cases
• Experience with defect tracking and management, as well as validating test results, tracking testing metrics, and communicating test/defect activities with project team and customers
• Experience testing ADA accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA)
• Reviewing and triaging vulnerability scan results
• Bachelor Degree

Job Description:

Software Test Analyst 3 to provide excellent customer service supporting both projects and work request.

This person will have the opportunity to be a critical member of a Quality Assurance team, contributing to the operational activities of the QA team and participating in various related work requests.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of general QA experience.

As an IT Quality Assurance Analyst, this individual will serve as a software tester - ensuring system requirements are testable and accurately met, perform preliminary ADA Standards reviews of systems, assist with application vulnerability security scanning. In addition, this position works closely with business partners to uphold quality standards across our IT systems, web sites, web applications, mobile sites, and mobile applications.

Top Skills:

Minimum of 5 years writing and executing manual test cases

Minimum of 5 years experience with defect tracking and management

Minimum of 5 years validating test results and tracking testing metrics

Minimum of 5 years communicating test and defect activities with project team and customers

Minimum of 2 years testing ADA accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA)

Minimum of 2 years reviewing and triaging vulnerability scan results

This is a Contract position based out of Lansing, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
