Job Description

Codeworks, an LRS company, is searching for an experienced Business Analyst for a contract engagement. This position provides an opportunity to contribute your expertise to meaningful projects that support our client's strategic goals

The Business Analyst will collaborate with teams across the organization to support the design, development, and improvement of large-scale applications. This role focuses on understanding business processes, translating them into clear technical requirements, and ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions. The position involves working closely with architects, developers, and stakeholders to guide requirements, evaluate solution options, support system modernization efforts, and contribute to high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in requirements analysis, process modeling, and enterprise application integration, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in both technical and business contexts.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, focusing on understanding business processes and translating them into clear, well-defined technical requirements.

• 8+ years of experience gathering business requirements and converting them into detailed technical design documents in collaboration with application and solution architects for large-scale application projects.

• Experience reviewing technical designs and specifications for completeness, clarity, and alignment with established quality standards.

• Experience supporting responsive design and creating user-centered, accessible design solutions.

• Familiarity with current software development practices, including Agile, DevOps, and modern programming languages and frameworks.

• Ability to analyze complex business challenges, evaluate solution options, and make informed, evidence-based recommendations.

• Proficiency with process-modeling tools used to create flowcharts, data models, and business process documentation.

• Experience working with a combination of established, core, and emerging technologies, along with business process mapping and process-improvement methods.

The base range for this contract position is $50.00 - $60.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
