You dial in feeder/straightener adjustments, check lubrication flow, and guide a crane to load the next coil. Parts start running to spec, scrap is sorted properly, and you keep the press humming safely and efficiently. The Advance Group is hiring full-time Machine Operators for 1st shift with immediate start dates. Join a stable team with real paths to advancement.

What you’ll handle

• Operate coil-fed stamping presses, basic press controls, and existing set-ups
• Work with die components; remove die assemblies and choose proper die clamps
• Run coilers, straighteners, and feeders; perform feeder/straightener adjustments
• Load and handle coils using overhead crane equipment
• Monitor and use lubrication systems
• Follow correct scrap handling and housekeeping standards

What you bring

• Coil tagging/identification and precise coil alignment
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safe setup control practices
• Hands-on experience with basic press operations and coil handling
• Crane operation experience
• Knowledge of lubrication systems
• Mechanical troubleshooting aptitude; tool/die/mold setup familiarity
• Exposure to metal stamping and forming (progressive die)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and twist throughout the shift
• Mechanical inclination preferred

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm
• Overtime as needed: 6:00am – 4:30pm and some Saturdays

Compensation & growth

• Starting pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience
