Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize welding processes for new and existing products.
• Select appropriate welding consumables, equipment, and procedures.
• Conduct welding trials, testing, and validation to ensure quality and performance.
• Implement and maintain welding quality control systems and standards.
• Troubleshoot welding defects and implement corrective actions.
• Train and mentor welding personnel on best practices and new technologies.
• Manage welding-related projects, including scope, budget, and timeline.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of welding metallurgy, weldability of different materials, and heat treatment processes.
• Proficiency in welding codes and standards (e.g., AWS, ASME, API) and their application in quality control and assurance.
• Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods for weld inspection and evaluation.
• Knowledge of welding automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing techniques.

Bonus Qualifications
