Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time or part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is based onsite in Romulus, MI, serving a K-12 school district with a primary caseload focused on elementary students. The role offers an opportunity to deliver specialized speech-language support within a dynamic school environment throughout the academic year (NSY contract).
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan SLP license required
- Certification of Clinical Competencies (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in professional school settings
- Background in pediatrics, including teletherapy, and familiarity with clinical fellowship year (CFY) cases is beneficial
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy services to support students communication skills across various settings
- Collaborate with educators and families to promote student progress
- Maintain documentation and compliance with school policies and state regulations
