Sales Coordinator

Responsibilities:
- Prepare sales presentations and support materials for prospective customers, such as suitable event space, dining and catering services, hotel bookings, and access to relevant facilities
- Establish and maintain communication with customers via phone and email to answer their inquiries and requests
- Prospect a list of company and referral leads generated through research, networking, social media, special events
- Recognize opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding guest satisfaction for the hotel group
- Manage schedules, file important documents, and communicate relevant information from the sales team to stakeholders and hotel departments
- Act as a liaison between the sales/catering team and clients
- Manage the catering sales process from beginning to end, including planning, budgeting, execution, and billing
- Always maintain professional dress and demeanor around internal and external clients
- Communicate relevant information from the sales team to stakeholders and hotel departments using STS-generated BEOs and Resumes
- Run at weekly BEO and Resume meeting
- Print and organize materials to support the Sales & Catering Manager
- Help schedule the banquets team for events
- Keeps track of sales materials and supplies during quarterly inventory
- Outstanding organizational skills and time management
- Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales
- Exhibits superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
- Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a similar field is a plus
- This position requires previous work experience in a hospitality role
- Proven track record of client success
- Advanced sales and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products
- Proven experience in sales, hotels, or other administrative positions will be considered a plus.
- Proficiency in English
- Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude for problem-solving
- A team player with a high level of dedication
