Salary Range: $44,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured products and components.
• Document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions accurately.
• Utilize precision measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product specifications.
• Assist in the investigation of root causes for quality defects and support problem-solving initiatives.
• Support the calibration program for inspection, measurement, and test equipment.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain and update quality records, procedures, and work instructions.

Recommended Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or inspection role.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and interpreting blueprints.
• Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and statistical process control (SPC).
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 9001 standards.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with calibration of measurement equipment.
• Proficiency with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software (e.g., Minitab).
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification.
• Familiarity with CMM operation or programming.
