Instructional Aide Opportunities Per Diem, School-Based Support
Location: Allen Park, MI

Flexible, per diem positions are available for compassionate Instructional Aides to provide one-on-one and small-group support to students in school settings. These roles offer the chance to make a meaningful impact by assisting students academically, behaviorally, and socially while working under the direction of teachers and school staff.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting students with academic tasks and classroom participation
• Providing 1:1 or small-group assistance tailored to student needs
• Helping students with daily routines, transitions, and mobility
• Implementing behavior support plans and following IEP directions when applicable
• Offering supervision and assistance with personal care needs
• Maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Ability to complete a TB test and maintain current clearances
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training in CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus but not required
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented approach to work
