Frankel Jewish Academy (FJA) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Women's Varsity Tennis Coach to lead and inspire our student-athletes. Position Summary:

This position oversees all aspects of the women's varsity tennis program, including collaboration and coordination with the Athletic Department to ensure the continued growth and success of the program.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct effective practices that build athletes’ skills, fitness, and teamwork.

  • Instruct student athletes in the rules, strategies, and techniques of tennis.

  • Promote academic achievement, leadership, and sportsmanship.

  • Develop and maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful team culture.

  • Supervise athletes during practices, games, travel, and school-related events.

  • Collaborate with assistant coaches, and school administration.

  • Maintain equipment in coordination with the Athletic Director.

  • Communicate regularly and professionally with players, parents, and school staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Prior coaching experience at the high school, club, or collegiate level preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of tennis fundamentals, rules, and strategies.

  • Ability to motivate student-athletes and foster a positive, team-oriented environment.

  • Current CPR/First Aid certification and applicable coaching credentials (or willingness to obtain).

  • Must pass a background check and meet all state and school employment requirements.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of $2,200 and $4000, depending on experience.
