Role: Full-time Multi-Family Property Maintenance Specialist
Compensation: $20.00
Schedule: 1st shift, Monday–Friday, some OT
A day in the lifeYou start the morning reviewing work orders for a portfolio of apartments and single-family homes. A kitchen sink leak is first on your list—tighten fittings, replace a worn trap, verify no drips. Next stop, a flickering hallway light—swap a faulty switch and test the circuit. Before lunch, you troubleshoot an HVAC call: change filters, check thermostat settings, and verify airflow. The afternoon is devoted to a unit turn—patch and sand drywall, touch up paint, adjust cabinet hinges, and test appliances so the home is move-in ready.
What you’ll handle- General repairs and preventive maintenance across apartments and single-family residences
- Basic electrical (outlets, switches, lighting) and plumbing (leaks, clogs, fixture swaps)
- HVAC basics (filter changes, simple troubleshooting)
- Appliance checks and minor fixes
- Carpentry tasks (doors, cabinets, drywall repair)
- Painting and complete unit turn preparation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years in apartment, multi-family, housing maintenance, construction, or a skilled trade
- Comfort with plumbing, electrical, HVAC basics, and carpentry
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs and climbing ladders
- Bring your own basic tools
