Automotive Dimensional Quality Engineer — Oshawa, Ontario

Contract | Day shift with a standard 6:00am start | Pay: up to $41.45 per hour (based on & determined by proven work history)

What your day looks like : You’ll kick off the morning at 6:00am reviewing in-station, downstream, and end-of-line measurement/validation data. Armed with fresh insights, you’ll huddle with plant quality stakeholders to align on what matters most and confirm action plans. From there, you’ll dig into statistical results, frame root-cause investigations, and drive corrective actions alongside a seasoned project team.

What you’ll own

• Daily, proactive analysis of dimensional data from measurement/validation systems (in-station, downstream, EOL)
• Regular reviews with plant quality leaders to confirm issues and agree on improvement plans
• Creation of data-driven root-cause analysis plans and implementation of corrective actions with existing project team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; or 1–5 years of related experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Green Lock # Certification required

Work location & travel

• Onsite at the GM Oshawa Plant in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada
• Ability to work/travel to Canada is required
