Position Description: About the RoleWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Propagation Clone Technician to join our cultivation team. This role is responsible for producing healthy, vigorous cannabis clones while maintaining strict quality, sanitation, and compliance standards.The ideal candidate is passionate about plant health, understands the importance of consistency, and takes pride in producing high-quality clones that support successful cultivation operations.Essential Responsibilities:Cloning & PropagationTake healthy cuttings from mother plants according to company SOPs.Prepare, trim, and properly insert clones into propagation media.Monitor clones daily to ensure proper hydration, rooting, and overall plant health.Maintain high rooting success rates through proper propagation techniques.Prepare clones for transplant into vegetative production as they become established.Plant Care & Environmental MonitoringMonitor and maintain optimal temperature, humidity, lighting, and moisture levels within propagation rooms.Water and care for clones according to established cultivation schedules.Identify and report plant health concerns including pests, disease, deficiencies, or poor root development.Assist with maintaining healthy mother plants as needed.Quality Control & ComplianceMaintain accurate plant counts and propagation records.Ensure compliance with all company SOPs and Michigan CRA regulations.Support METRC plant tagging, tracking, and inventory documentation as required.Follow Integrated Pest Management (IPM) protocols to maintain a clean and healthy propagation environment.Facility Organization & SanitationMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary propagation workspace.Clean and sanitize tools, trays, domes, and workstations before and after use.Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.Team CollaborationWork closely with cultivation leadership to meet production schedules and clone demand.Communicate plant health concerns, inventory needs, or operational issues promptly.Support overall cultivation goals through consistent and reliable propagation output.Qualifications:RequiredMust be at least 21 years of age.Eligible to work in a licensed cannabis facility.Strong attention to detail and passion for plant care.Ability to follow SOPs and maintain consistency.Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.PreferredPrevious cannabis cultivation or propagation experience preferred.Experience taking clones and maintaining propagation environments.Familiarity with METRC and cannabis compliance requirements.Basic understanding of plant nutrition, irrigation, and environmental controls.What We OfferCompetitive compensation based on experienceFull-time, stable employmentCareer growth opportunities within cultivation operationsTeam-oriented and supportive work environmentBenefits package available for eligible employeesApply TodayIf you are passionate about cannabis cultivation, enjoy working with plants, and have an eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.#Cult26 Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and move up to 60 pounds regularly throughout scheduled shifts.Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach for extended periods while performing daily cultivation tasks.Comfortable working in hot, humid grow environments with temperatures ranging from approximately 75–85°ree;F and humidity levels between 60–70%.Ability to work under high-intensity grow lighting for extended periods of time.Must possess strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform detailed tasks such as trimming, transplanting, cloning, pruning, and plant maintenance.Comfortable performing repetitive, detail-oriented work throughout the workday while maintaining consistency and quality standards.Ability to operate cultivation tools, irrigation equipment, sprayers, trimming equipment, and other facility systems safely and effectively.Comfortable working around cannabis plants, fertilizers, organic pesticides, soil, growing media, dust, and strong plant odors.Ability to maintain focus, organization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced cultivation environment with strict compliance requirements.Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented cultivation setting.Ability to follow sanitation, safety, and compliance procedures precisely while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.Comfortable moving throughout multiple grow rooms and cultivation areas during the course of a shift.Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding plant health, equipment issues, and operational needs.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position. $16.00 - $18.00 Hourly
