Salary Range: $60,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular EHS risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Develop, deliver, and track EHS training programs for employees on safety procedures, hazard communication, and emergency response.
• Investigate all EHS incidents, near misses, and accidents to determine root causes and implement preventative measures.
• Manage hazardous waste programs, including waste characterization, storage, disposal, and recordkeeping.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols, procedures, and lockout/tagout programs for manufacturing operations.
• Maintain accurate EHS records, permits, and documentation required by regulatory agencies and internal policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• 3-5 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state-specific environmental and safety regulations.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and develop/deliver EHS training programs.
• Experience with EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and internal auditing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Gensuite, Intelex, Sphera).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or demonstrated experience applying continuous improvement methodologies to EHS processes.
• Professional EHS certification (e.g., ASP, GSP, OHST, CHMM).
• Experience with ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 management systems, including internal auditing.
