Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you will play a crucial role in the production line for a new ramp-up with a leading automotive company. Your main duties will involve assembling materials, operating machinery, inspecting parts, and ensuring they are ready for shipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble materials and operate machines on the production line.
• Inspect parts after lifting them off the line and prepare them for shipping.
• Occasionally assemble components as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Shift:

3rd shift - 10:30PM - 6:30AM

Must be able to work **Monday - Friday ** currently on 6-7 days

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 6 months of recent experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in production, general labor, assembly, or warehouse roles.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs, including handling car hoods made of plastic and foam.
• Visual inspection experience with a focus on identifying defects such as scratches, paint marks, and dents.
• Demonstrated job stability with at least 8 months at each of the last three jobs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical and machine operations is a plus.

Work in a dynamic environment with a team of six. Although the facility is undergoing improvements, it will become significantly cleaner. The role requires wearing work pants, a work shirt, closed-toed shoes, safety glasses, and face protection.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TROY, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.35 - $16.35/hr.
