Machine Specialist

Shift: Third

Hours: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

Pay Rate: $29.00 per hour for an experienced machinist

Basic Skill Requirements:

- Ability to read and write.

- Basic math skills.

- Use of inspection instruments.

- Pass a proficiency test and complete the Machine General training course.

- Perform minor preventive maintenance on equipment.

- Maintain accurate records.

- Experience as a Machinist General or in a similar role.

- Basic computer and technology skills.

- Read and understand CNC programming language.

- Use basic hand tools to carry out minor preventive maintenance on equipment.

 

Job Description:

- Perform proper setups on all machines per the work instructions provided.

- Inspect and gauge parts according to work instructions.

- Make tool offsets in CNC programs as needed.

- Conduct minor preventive maintenance on equipment as required.

- Track and document hourly production as necessary.

- Repair fixtures and tooling.

- Unpack, wash, and repack shipments as required.

- Includes Tech Cell and Job Shop assignments.

- Train as necessary.
