This is an onsite position that requires the selected candidate to be onsite 5 days per week in Pontiac, Michigan.

Position Summary

At LMM, we take immense pride in having clean, well-maintained, and reliable equipment on our jobsites. We are currently seeking a dedicated Paint and Maintenance Craftsman to support the ongoing restoration and upkeep of our equipment and facilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for surface preparation, priming, painting, and general maintenance of various types of equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, manlifts, cranes, trailers, and hydraulic gantry equipment. Your primary focus will be on refurbishing equipment, with additional support tasks such as facility maintenance and assisting with light building remodel and renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake the primary workload of restoring and repainting equipment.
• Applying proper painting techniques (primarily brush and roll method)
• Safely use painting tools and materials
• Deliver high-quality finishes that meet company standards
• Properly clean and maintain equipment & tools in good working order.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year(s) of experience working on painting and remodeling jobs, or other related work environments
• Familiarity with various painting methods, including roller and hand brushing, spray application, and basic color matching techniques.
• Forklift (Hi-Lo) experience is preferred.
