Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive services within a K-12 school setting located in Port Huron, MI. This full-time, onsite contract position involves working with elementary students and offers the chance to make a significant impact on their communication development throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state regulations and district policies
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Experience working with elementary school caseloads preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop effective treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
