Requirements:

• Completion of an approved nurse aide training program, with current certification required from the State of Michigan
• Basic Life Support Certification (classes offered at Heartwood Lodge if needed)
• Background check including fingerprinting if necessary
• Pre-employment health screening and drug screen
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to providing top notch patient care and services

As a Certified Nurse Aide at Heartwood Lodge you will be:

• Promoting hospitality and excellent customer service to our residents and their families
• Provide excellent customer service to facility guests and visitors
• Perform and document patient care in accordance to resident specific care plan which includes bathing and all activities of daily living
• Perform and document nutritional intake, blood pressure, TPRs, catheter care, weights, turning and repositioning, range of motion, and ambulation
• Observe and report significant changes in condition or behavior as appropriate to Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing
