Join our healthcare partner‘s Cardiovascular Unit, where your expertise will contribute to the care of over 4,000 patients annually. This unit is renowned for its excellence, having received a Silver level Beacon Award and recognition as a Top 50 Heart Hospital in the U.S.
As a critical member of the Cardiovascular Unit, you will utilize your clinical judgment to diagnose and treat patient responses to various health conditions. Your role will involve working with a team that specializes in procedures such as PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers, as well as caring for patients with congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies.
- Provide high-quality care to post-op open heart surgery patients
- Collaborate with the NISUS research department on national clinical trials
- Float to similar units as needed
- Maintain compliance with a strict attendance policy
- Adhere to the facility‘s standards for patient care and safety
Requirements:
- 1+ year of ICU experience
- EKG experience
- Willingness to float to similar units
- Michigan RN license (verification required)
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Skills checklist completed within one year of application
- Need 1 year experience in setting
