Job Title: Phlebotomist - Lake Orion
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist for our Lake Orion location. This role offers a great opportunity for hands-on phlebotomy experience in an outpatient setting, with the option to work in both stationary and float positions. Enjoy the potential for raises after six months of employment.
Responsibilities

Draw patient blood samples, process them, and package them properly, approximately 25-45 times per day.

Communicate daily with clinic staff to organize and schedule blood draws.
Essential Skills
-
Proficient in blood draw, phlebotomy, and venipuncture.

Experience in specimen collection and processing.

Ability to perform over 200 solo draws.

Knowledge of the order of draw and BD Vacutainer tube colors for multiple tube collections.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

At least 1.5 years of experience as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant.

Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification or certificate.

High School Diploma.
Work Environment
Work hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm, and candidates must be able to fully commit to this schedule. The team typically wears navy blue scrubs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Orion, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
