This team member directs the technical aspects of day to day operations at the plant level facilities. The Lead Technician serves as a representative of HPC-Industrial in creating a continuous working relationship with clients/customers. This is a great opportunity for someone with a 2-year technical degree or vocational training program certificate.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and follow-up on tasks performed by other team technicians across multiple shifts.
  • Collect operational data, including water chemistry measurements (TSS, pH, turbidity, conductivity, etc.).
  • Take Airflow Measurements
  • Monitor and adjust equipment setpoints.
  • Inspect and replace chemical or paint totes as needed.
  • Enter data into databases and tracking tools.
  • Develop and maintain plant data boards, including troubleshooting issues and creating/tracking countermeasures.
  • Prepare and deliver daily and weekly reports.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to complete assignments while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Maintain clear and positive communication with team members. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and writing communication abilities.
  • Present a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Comply with all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Accept work assignments that may require additional training (training will be provided as needed).


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training preferred.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory or team lead experience in an industrial setting
  • Mechanically inclined with experience in technical or industrial work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to climb ladders and work around industrial equipment.
  • Must be comfortable working in a large industrial paint facility that requires frequent walking, standing, and exposure to varied environments (clean and dirty areas).
