• Location: Dayton, Ohio (45409) – Ohio healthcare jobs
• Facility Type: Hospital – Outpatient, General, Clinic
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens MRI Technologist (Travel Contract)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (September 2, 2025 – December 2, 2025)
• Shift: Day shifts, Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 3x12-hour (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2290–$2350
• Patient Population: Adults, Geriatrics

MRI Technologist Qualifications

• Associate degree in Allied Health or Radiologic Technology
• Minimum 2 years of MRI Tech experience in a large hospital (Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience preferred)
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• ODH (Ohio Department of Health) certification
• Epic charting system experience
• Proficiency with GE MRI equipment; Siemens experience a plus
• Ability to be fitted for N95 respirator (unless PAPR is provided)
• Previous travel healthcare experience preferred
• Availability to work every other holiday
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

MRI Tech Responsibilities

• Independently perform diagnostic MRI procedures using proper techniques and contrast media administration
• Operate MRI equipment and administer medications within scope of practice and licensure
• Coordinate patient flow and activities in the Radiology Department
• Maintain MRI equipment and ensure optimal functioning
• Perform procedures in other imaging modalities as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, Physical Therapy, Respiratory, Social Services, Pharmacy, and more
