Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for School Psychologists to provide comprehensive psychological services within K-12 educational settings across multiple schools in Monroe County, MI. This contract position is travel-based and covers the school year from August 12, 2026, through June 2, 2027, requiring onsite presence at various locations including Monroe Public, Dundee, Jefferson, and Airport schools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and development.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school personnel to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services when needed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of behavioral and academic interventions.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal regulations governing school psychology services.

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist license verified through the official state credential search.
• Experience working with K-12 students preferred.
• Ability to travel between assigned school sites in Monroe County.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to onsite service delivery (virtual service options have been proposed but are not approved for this role).

Work Schedule and Location:

• Full-time contract position, 37.5 hours per week.
• Positions available at multiple schools in Monroe County, including Monroe Public (2 positions), Dundee, Jefferson, and Airport schools.
• Start date: August 12, 2026; End date: June 2, 2027.

This role is ideal for dedicated School Psychologists licensed in Michigan who are comfortable traveling within Monroe County and delivering support directly in school environments.
