Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years in ICU (floating experience not considered) License: Michigan RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: EKG experience Willingness to float to similar units Description: The Registered Nurse uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions. The RN is a critical member of the unit, which cares for a high volume of patients annually. Procedures include various cardiovascular interventions and surgeries. The unit specializes in the care of patients with congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies. The department also manages many national clinical trials. The unit has received recognition for its commitment to optimal outcomes and exceptional patient care. The leadership, medical staff, and colleagues work collaboratively to demonstrate top performance in care and efficiency. The RN contractor must adhere to a strict attendance policy, with consequences for excessive absences or tardiness. Physical copies of certifications are required if listed above.
