Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

Partners In Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to join a busy production facility in Grand Rapids. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and packaging line equipment. This role is key to keeping operations running smoothly and safely while upholding the highest standards of quality.

What Youll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install production and packaging equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance projects on schedule and during emergency situations.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and schematics to complete repairs.
• Work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Maintain maintenance logbooks, complete paperwork, and keep work areas clean.
• Support energy source and air compressor systems.
• Adhere to GMPs, OSHA, and company safety/quality policies.
• Report and correct any food safety or quality issues immediately.

What Were Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 35 years of maintenance experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work assigned shift and overtime as needed.
• Must complete training and certification (Forklift, LOTO, Confined Space, etc.) as required.
