Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues for manufacturing systems, hardware, and software.
• Provide timely technical support to production staff, engineers, and office personnel.
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations, industrial PCs, and peripheral devices on the shop floor.
• Monitor and ensure the operational stability of critical production IT infrastructure.
• Document all support incidents, resolutions, and create knowledge base articles.
• Assist with network connectivity issues impacting production equipment and data collection.
• Collaborate with vendors for specialized manufacturing software and hardware support.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience providing technical support in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
• Strong understanding of PC hardware, printers, network connectivity basics, and mobile devices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and basic IT service management principles.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience supporting manufacturing-specific software (e.g., ERP, MES, SCADA)
• Familiarity with industrial hardware (e.g., PLCs, barcode scanners, specialized printers)
• Understanding of Operational Technology (OT) environments and their unique IT security considerations
• Experience with mobile devices or ruggedized equipment used in a factory setting
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and production floor operations
