Wayne State University is seeking an experienced faculty member in Maternal Fetal Medicine for its Detroit campus.

Essential functions (job duties):

• Provide high-quality teaching to students, residents, and fellows on the labor and delivery unit, including didactics and patient care, especially important due to staffing shortages in maternal-fetal medicine faculty.
• Participate in teaching programs for internal and external rotating medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Publish peer-reviewed literature as author and co-author.
• Maintain a strong record of scholarship and conduct research aligned with departmental goals.
• Seek funding for research and salary support through collaborative or independent scholarship.
• Participate in service assignments and perform administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• MD/DO degree required.
• Michigan Medical License required.
• Board certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine, valid Michigan license.
• Rank to be determined based on credentials.
