Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and reliability of IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems critical for manufacturing operations.
• Manage the implementation, integration, and optimization of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ERP, and other production-related software.
• Develop and enforce robust cybersecurity protocols to protect both corporate IT and factory floor OT environments.
• Ensure the continuous availability and performance of network infrastructure and data systems supporting production facilities.
• Lead the strategic planning and alignment of IT initiatives with manufacturing efficiency and business growth objectives.
• Drive data collection and analytics initiatives to support production optimization, quality control, and predictive maintenance.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts for specialized industrial hardware, software, and IT services.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT management experience, specifically within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with manufacturing-specific IT systems (e.g., ERP, MES, SCADA, PLM).
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure management, network architecture, and cybersecurity best practices for both IT and OT environments.
• Proven ability to lead IT projects, implement new technologies, and manage vendor relationships effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on minimizing operational downtime and ensuring system reliability.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) environments (e.g., SCADA, MES, PLCs) and IT/OT integration.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies (e.g., Industrial IoT, predictive maintenance).
• Proven ability to leverage IT to support Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma initiatives.
• Deep understanding of major manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS).
• Experience with IT solutions for supply chain management and logistics in a production setting.
