Accounts Payable Manager

VENTEON and Harvard Resource Solutions are hiring an ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER to provide support in Metro Detroit, MI. Assist the Accounting Manager by being responsible for overseeing Accounts Payable processing for multiple locations in an accurate and timely manner. Complete Accounts Payable month end processing.

JOB TYPE: Full time, direct hire, onsite position.

PAY: Max $60,000 - $62,400 annually. PTO and full benefits package provided.

Requirements of the Accounts Payable Manager:

• Degree nice to have, not required.

• A minimum of five years of full cycle Accounts Payable processing required.

• Three years leading a team in Accounting. Able to delegate work and manage escalated issues.

• Knowledge of EDI payment processes.

• Software skills: MS Office including strong Excel skills. Must have experience with ERP System (Such as SAP, Oracle, etc.) Able to extract data from various systems for reporting and analysis.

Duties of the Accounts Payable Manager:

• Manage Accounts Payable operations. Delegation of Accounts Payable activities within the AP team.

• Maintain AP Staffing levels ensuring everyone has the tools, training, and direction they need.

• Oversee the processing of Accounts Payable from receipt of vendor invoices through payments and distribution.

• Assist with resolving AP issues such as reconciling statements and account differences ensuring transactions are accurate.

• All month/quarter/year end activities related to Accounts Payable including variances and reporting.

• Monthly team reviews.

• Other duties as assigned.
