Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a 1st shift Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician you will be part of the Quality Control Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: 1st shift Quality Technician

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pay: 18.00

Shift: 6:45AM to 3PM Monday to Friday, Mandatory overtime as needed.

What's the Job?

• Perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products.
• Inspect materials, parts, and products at different stages of production and record observations.
• Test and approve raw materials based on established quality specifications.
• Conduct audits on incoming materials, process/production, and outgoing parts.
• Develop and maintain logs, charts, and forms to track quality levels and inspection data.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months to 1-year experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read a ruler, scale, and micrometer accurately.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
