Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine setup, changeover, and tooling adjustments according to production schedules and specifications.
• Install, align, and calibrate tooling, fixtures, and components for various manufacturing processes.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and quality checks to ensure product conformity and process capability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or operational issues during setup and production runs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate machine configuration.
• Document setup parameters, machine settings, and maintenance activities for record-keeping.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety protocols.
• High school diploma or GED; technical certificate in a relevant field preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Basic proficiency with CAD/CAM software.
• Familiarity with PLC ladder logic or industrial controls.
• Preventive maintenance (PM) experience.
