Salary Range: $69,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cost analysis, including variance analysis between standard and actual costs.
• Maintain and update standard costs for raw materials, labor, and overhead.
• Manage inventory valuation for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
• Prepare accurate and timely cost of goods sold (COGS) reports and profitability analysis.
• Develop and implement costing methodologies (e.g., standard costing, activity-based costing).
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes with cost data.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations to management.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles, standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for decision-making.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience or certification
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization projects
• Advanced Excel modeling skills (e.g., VBA, scenario analysis)
