Mobile HVAC Field Service Specialist

As a Mobile HVAC Field Service Specialist with a heating and cooling support company, you will split your time between supporting shop operations and heading into the field for hands-on service calls. Mornings might begin in the shop cleaning and organizing equipment, loading your truck, reviewing technical drawings, and planning the day. From there, you will travel to commercial work sites to lift and position industrial HVAC equipment, diagnose and repair mobile HVAC units, and keep customers up and running in all kinds of weather.
What you will do
- Clean and organize equipment to ensure every job starts prepared
- Travel to commercial work sites; lift and carry industrial heating and cooling equipment safely
- Drive a company vehicle to and from customer locations
- Work in the elements and adapt to changing site conditions
- Assess and diagnose issues with mobile HVAC units and complete basic repairs
- Read and interpret prints and technical drawings to plan tasks and validate work
- Apply strong mechanical aptitude on every assignment
What you bring
- 2+ years of HVAC experience
- EPA Section 608 Certification
- Completion of an HVAC technical program or apprenticeship
- Mechanically inclined with hands-on problem-solving skills
- Insurable driving record
Schedule and pay
1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Pay: $20–$24 per hour, based on experience
Training and growth
You will receive on-the-job training in the shop and mentorship in the field, expanding your capabilities across diagnostics, equipment handling, and customer service.
Legal and compliance
Successful completion of a background check as you are working in some cases on government work sites and schools
