With a focus on streamlining operations and ensuring safety, this opportunity will allow you to shine in overseeing both mechanical and electrical maintenance of our melt shop.

About the Role:

Your role will be crucial in ensuring equipment reliability and longevity by leading a team of dedicated maintenance professionals. Your technical expertise will guide the planning and execution of equipment modifications, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards at all times.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage all maintenance operations, collaborating closely with departments and contractors for seamless project implementation.
• Engage in strategic planning with key stakeholders to manage new installations and necessary equipment amendments.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and timelines.
• Maintain high standards of safety and regulatory compliance throughout all procedures.
• Provide leadership to a team of facilitators and technicians, instilling best practices and continuous improvement.
• Oversee workforce initiatives including development, training, and performance management.
• Ensure efficient resource management through precise budget creation and capital improvement recommendations.

Qualifications Desired:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is essential.
• 5+ years experience in supervisory maintenance roles, ideally within heavy industry.
• Strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a record of minimizing downtime effectively.

Expertise You Possess:

• Proficient in creating preventative maintenance protocols.
• Skilled in troubleshooting complex equipment issues.
• Hands-on experience with PLC systems, HMIs, and industrial robotics.
