Job Description
Join our team as a Warehouse Worker to assist with our warehouse operations for a significant project in Belleville. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently moved, staged, and loaded in the appropriate areas while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to the correct destination.
- Efficiently stage, stack, and load merchandise in the appropriate areas.
- Move product from staging and/or unloading areas into the correct load door and assigned trailer.
- Ensure the trailer is secured and chocked prior to entering according to safety policies.
- Load and unload products using appropriate handling techniques.
- Segregate, check, and stage inbound products correctly.
- Verify that the driver, trailer, and bills correspond to the specific carrier and location.
- Count freight with the driver and ensure all requirements are met.
- Load the trailer for safe transit and ensure the driver signs all required paperwork.
- Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.
- Maintain the facility to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Maintain an organized and orderly desk/office area.
- Perform other duties as assigned, such as cleaning, organizing, and sweeping the work area.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Recent Forklift Certification, obtained within the last 2 years.

- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Steel-toed boots/shoes required.

This is a brand new 628,000 sq ft, climate-controlled, well-lit, and extremely clean facility. The company provides supply chain solutions across multiple sectors, including automotive, aerospace, pharmaceutical, healthcare, consumer retail, and food & beverage. This location has about 250 employees, including both warehouse and office staff. The company prides itself on being client-focused, always going above and beyond to service their customers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belleville, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
