Continuous Improvement Leader | Holt, MI

Salary Range: $87,000 - $133,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) across manufacturing operations.
  • Identify and analyze process inefficiencies and waste to pinpoint improvement opportunities.
  • Develop, train, and coach employees at all levels in CI methodologies and tools.
  • Drive the implementation of standardized work and best practices to sustain gains.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial impact of CI projects.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving throughout the plant.
  • Manage a portfolio of improvement projects from conception to completion.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Proven expertise in applying Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other CI tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, VSM)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional improvement projects and drive cultural change
  • Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R) or statistical modeling.
  • Prosci or other formal Change Management certification.
  • Familiarity with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) in a manufacturing context.
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts, automation, or digital transformation.
  • Specific manufacturing process expertise relevant to the company's operations.
