Are you passionate about creating a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace? We’re looking for an EHS Specialist to take ownership of environmental health and safety programs at a growing manufacturing facility.

In this role, you’ll lead safety initiatives, drive compliance, and be the go-to resource for all things health, safety, and environmental. You’ll have the opportunity to make a visible impact every day—protecting people, improving processes, and ensuring regulatory excellence.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop, implement, and manage health, safety, and environmental programs aligned with ISO 14001, OSHA, MIOSHA, EPA, and state/federal requirements

• Conduct facility audits, hazard analyses, and inspections to identify risks and implement corrective actions

• Lead safety training programs for employees, including new hire orientation, PPE use, lockout/tagout, and emergency response

• Drive accident/incident investigations and implement effective corrective actions

• Maintain compliance calendars, records, and reporting for environmental regulations (hazardous waste, air permits, water pollution, etc.)

• Facilitate safety committee meetings and foster a proactive safety culture across the facility

What We’re Looking For:

• Associate’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)

• 3+ years of EHS or safety-related experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of MIOSHA/OSHA regulations and plant operations

• Excellent communication and leadership skills—you can train, influence, and motivate teams

• Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple projects independently
