Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to schedules.
• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of production employees, providing guidance and feedback.
• Monitor production quality, identifying and addressing any deviations or defects.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies on the production floor.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality control, to resolve issues and optimize operations.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, reporting discrepancies.
• Participate in and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Conduct performance reviews and address employee concerns or conflicts.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of production processes and quality control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• - Certification in a relevant trade (e.g., welding, machining, electrical)
