Salary Range: $63,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs, including material, labor, and overhead variances.
• Develop and maintain standard costs for products and bill of materials.
• Manage inventory valuation, including work-in-process and finished goods.
• Prepare detailed cost reports, profitability analyses, and margin trends.
• Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for production costs.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts related to inventory and cost of goods sold.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and efficiency improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced Excel and data visualization skills (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience with advanced functionalities or module configuration within a major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis
