Salary Range: $67,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Charlotte that are seeking skilled Quality Supervisors. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train quality inspectors and technicians on procedures and standards.
• Oversee all product inspection, testing, and measurement processes to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain and ensure accuracy of all quality documentation, records, and reports.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean manufacturing principles within the quality department.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001), company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the calibration program for all quality measurement and test equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001), statistical process control (SPC), and root cause analysis tools.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with specific Quality Management System (QMS) software (e.g., SAP QM, MasterControl).
• Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or similar professional certification.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for quality data.
