Job Summary
- Create an outstanding customer experience by greeting and assisting every showroom visitor with courtesy and professionalism
- Answer incoming showroom phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
- Support Showroom Sales Consultants by assisting walk-in customers and helping qualify client needs
- Schedule appointments and ensure customers are connected with the right sales consultant at the right time
- Follow up on purchases and products to ensure customer satisfaction and successful outcomes
- Assist customers by understanding their needs, answering questions, and highlighting additional product options when appropriate
- Support customer purchases from initial quote through delivery to ensure a smooth, positive transaction
- Provide hospitality services including beverage offerings and appointment coordination
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom environment
- Assist with showroom events, promotions, and marketing activities such as client events, home shows, and special promotions
- Complete assigned showroom product knowledge and sales training
- Perform general administrative duties including data entry, typing correspondence, and mail handling (as needed)
- Participate in special projects and support overall showroom operations
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Effective interpersonal, customer service, communication, organization, administrative, teamwork, and stress management skills.
- Maintain professional image as a representative of the company.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, priorities, deadlines, and interruptions and easily adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to demonstrate engagement and excitement about product offerings and assisting clients to understand and meet their needs.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
- Ability to create professional-looking documents and correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, including using a calculator.
- Basic knowledge of company products available.
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook. Knowledge of Eclipse is a plus.
- Occasional travel as required.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; or
- Six months to a year of related experience and training; or
- Equivalent combination of experience and education.
Certifications and/or Licenses:
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
