Salary Range: $62,000 - $95,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and debug CMM inspection programs for various manufactured parts.
• Perform dimensional inspections of parts using CMMs to verify conformance to specifications.
• Generate and analyze detailed CMM inspection reports, communicating results effectively.
• Design and create appropriate fixturing for CMM measurement applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CMM program errors and measurement discrepancies.
• Ensure CMM programs and measurements comply with engineering drawings, GD&T, and quality standards.
• Participate in CMM calibration, validation, and routine preventative maintenance activities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso).
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and GD&T.
• Solid understanding of metrology principles and measurement techniques.
• Experience with CMM operation, setup, and fixture design.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills for measurement challenges.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASME GD&T Professional Certification (GDTP)
• Proficiency with multiple CMM software platforms (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS)
• Experience with other metrology equipment such as laser scanners, vision systems, or portable CMMs
• Ability to perform basic CMM preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
